I'll Never Buy A Book Again |

I wasn't sure what I was going to think of the Kindle when I purchased it. I'm an avid reader and I love books - the feel, the smell, everything. But this Kindle is AMAZING! I can honestly say I'll never purchase a regular book again. I read books quicker. I can change the print size and it's really helpful. The thing I love the most is the price of new release books in the Kindle store. I used to purchase books at almost thirty dollars, but now I can buy new releases for $9.99 at the most. I just can't say enough great things about the Kindle. I don't go anywhere without mine. |

Kindle: A Five Star Pleasure |
I've had my Kindle 2 since Jan 2010, it's been such a pleasure to read on. But I do want to share a problem that I've encountered on numerous occasions while out in public:
A couple of days ago I was at Sea Island Shrimp House reading with Gracie when I got the strangest feeling we were not alone. I glanced to the right, left , everyone was busy eating their meals, not paying me any attention so I started reading again, but that feeling persisted. Again I looked to the right, left, nothing everyone was still eating, or conversing with each other. That odd feeling was still there, even stronger than before , giving me the willies so I looked behind me. Two employees were standing right behind me (I was at the end of a row of booths) looking over my shoulder, they must have been reading along with me ! As soon as I turned around they wanted to know if Gracie was a Kindle. So I spent the next few minutes talking about all things Kindle. When you purchase a Kindle it really should come with a warning of some sort. :) |

DFS's Kindle Thoughts |

Love my SECOND Kindle - (unfortunately I seriously dropped my first Kindle & it could not be repaired). However, I travel a lot and its just the thing for airplanes, airports, cruise ships, etc. A few friends have a different readers - ugh - mine is by far the BEST. DFS |

Kindle 2nd Generation |

I just love my new Kindle, it is easy to use with the page buttons on each side, the screen is great for reading, just like reading a book, the screen does not fade when reading in sunlight. I also like being able to download my books, Readers Digest and books from our local library, I am so glad I decided to purchase my new Kindle. |
